Stella Louise Cowan is a Senior Consultant with Plante & Moran’s Learning and Performance Services Group. Stella has over 15 years of high-level experience in training and organizational development. Additionally, she has 10 years experience as an adjunct professor in business-related courses in several college systems. Stella has taught or delivered presentations to over 500 groups between her corporate and her college classroom experience. She is known for her engaging, facilitative style of delivery. Both training and business-event audiences love her high energy and enthusiasm. Additionally, Stella is an excellent designer of innovative, outcomes-focused training products. Stella specializes in supporting training activities with practical tools and performance aids to promote application of skills back on the job. Her areas of expertise include: Performance coaching Career transition coaching Mentoring Customer service Small to medium-scale change management Leadership development Also, Stella is the author of several national publications on the subject of change management including The American Society for Training and Development’s April 1999 Info-line booklet on developing a systematic, holistic change strategy, and an article in Consulting Today’s Summer 1999 edition on helping employees navigate through change. Finally, Stella has a Master’s degree in Education from Wayne State University.
