Background:

Jeb Bush is a man of integrity and vision. He is a successful entrepreneur, founder of the Foundation for Florida's Future, and co-author of Profiles In Character. Guided by the conservative principles of self-government and personal responsibility, he promotes cultural changes, and advocates a return to our Founding Fathers' vision of self-government.

Mr. Bush is a strong supporter for rebuilding institutions committed to teaching character and virtue to our children as a means of educating against social ills. He believes that restoring the family, the community, the church and synagogue, and civic clubs and associations, are crucial steps necessary in building a better future.

As a member of the Heritage Foundation, Bush currently serves on the Board of the National Policy Forum of the Republican National Committee. In 1994, he was the Republican nominee for governor of Florida, and in 1995, he was the Chairman of Presidency III, the Republican Party of Florida's Presidential preference convention.
