Eileen E. Clancy is Director Human Resource Development for Lamson & Session in Cleveland. Her primary responsibilities include organization development, training, performance management and leadership development. She serves as an internal consultant on change management initiatives and career development.
Prior to joining Lamson, Eileen was Training Manager for USX Corporation in Pittsburgh where she directed all training, change management, assessment center activities for management and hourly employees of U. S. Steel Mon Valley Works. She served as one of the founding members of the Mon Valley Tomorrow Steering Committee, which was a joint union/management continuous improvement program that utilized the leadership style of employee involvement to achieve its objectives. Eileen was also editor of a quarterly publication entitled Mon Valley Today.
Before making a career change into the business sector, Eileen worked in the education and counseling fields having held positions as a pre-school Head Start teacher and Supervisor, Curriculum Specialist for a Law-Related and Citizenship Education project, Career and Retraining Counselor for dislocated workers, and Continuing Education Instructor for Community College of Allegheny County. In addition, Eileen Co-author a high school textbook entitled " Consent of the Governed" which featured segments on responsible citizenship.
Eileen holds a BA in Education from St. Mary-of-the Woods College in Indiana and a MS in Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Eileen is also certified to teach elementary and physically and mentally handicapped students.
