Keynotes And Workshops On Trends And Issues For The Future

David Zach is one of the few professionally-trained futurists in the United States, with a Master's degree in Futures Research from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

David worked in the roles of environmental scanning and strategic planning with Johnson Controls and Northwestern Life, and taught future studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Because of this unusual degree, people in the community and education groups would ask him to speak at their meetings. David now speaks throughout the United States and Canada.

David Zach is the kind of Futurist who talks about how the trends will impact the way we live and work. HE BELIEVES THAT MUCH OF THE FUTURE IS A CHOICE. David speaks about values, hopes and dreams, not statistics and silly predictions. His presentations leave the audience both quiet in their own thoughts and full of positive, lively conversation for the rest of the Conference. David helps your audience understand the choices and opportunities that will help teach them to build a better future. These conversations will continue when each person gets home with their children, spouse, co-workers and community.

KEYNOTES: An Owners Guide to the Future
David will take the audience on a humorous down to earth tour of key trends and current issues in technology, business, education and society. More importantly, he'll help you understand how to think about the future and change along with thinking about today from a new angle. Favored assumptions are re-examined--as are so-called new solutions. Other topics include: The Knowledge Economy, The Balance of Change With Continuity, Workplace Trends, Interpersonal Computers, Demographics, and The Future of Education.

WORKSHOPS: The Future--A Second Look
This session serves as a follow-up to the Keynote. David will answer questions, expand on some of his comments, make pithy observations, and tell a few jokes. This session is an opportunity to look at the trends for both life and work. The audience will have the opportunity to explore reasons for resisting or adapting to change. They will identify recent changes and trends and differentiate between long-term vs short-term coping skills.

David has an impressive list of clients and testimonials. Please contact Suzanne Hill at CONVENTION CONNECTION via SpeedMail for more information.
