Larry Csonka is more than a retired football player, he is a legend. His status as MVP in Super Bowl VIII culminated in three trips with the Miami Dolphins to the NFL's biggest game, including the perfect 17-0-0 season of 1972. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1987. His career rushing record of 6,736 yards still stands.
Csonka hasn't faded into the background since retirement from the NFL. He has been a national spokesperson for Miller Lite and Norwegian Cruise Lines, and has co-hosted the popular syndicated program, American Gladiators. Currently, Csonka is constructing an ASA-sanctioned softball complex and driving range, while participating as a host on ESPN's "Suzuki Great Outdoors" television series.
Csonka currently resides at his home in Florida and maintains a farm in Ohio.
