He graduated from the US Air Force Academy and spent twenty years in the military as a Fighter Pilot, a Chief of Quality Assurance, the Commander of a 550 person Aircraft Maintenance squadron, an Aircraft Operations Officer, and a Deputy Base Commander. He has lived and worked extensively overseas in Vietnam, German and Athens, Greece.
