Interactive Training, Inc. (ITi) Announces E-Learning Partnership With Berrett-Koehler Publishers
Suite of e-courses based on the best-selling Managers As Mentors™ by Chip R. Bell will be released in late 2001.
BEVERLY, MA, August 3, 2001 – Interactive Training, Inc. (ITI), a pioneer in Web-based business skills course development, announced an e-learning partnership with Berrett-Koehler Publishers, an independent publisher of high-end management and human resources books.
The initial offering from the partnership will be a 5 e-course suite based on the best-selling book (over 85,000 copies sold with a revised edition due out in January 2002) and workshops on "Managers As Mentors™" by Chip R. Bell. The Managers As Mentors™ Suite will be a provocative learning experience to help associates grow and adapt in today's tumultuous organizations. The instructional materials will provide managers with countless techniques and practical tips for using a partnering relationship with subordinates to enhance continuous learning. Included will be approaches and exercises useful in performance coaching and counseling, handling difficult conversations, team meeting management, and making presentations.
