Interactive Training, Inc. and Endicott College Release Three Introductory Business Courses

BEVERLY, MA -- Interactive Training, Inc. (ITI) and Endicott College announce the release of the initial three introductory business courses under their development and marketing partnership. These for-credit courses will be available through Endicott’s online Learning Center to all ITI customers as well as to Endicott’s undergraduate students, continuing education adult learners, and corporations participating in their professional education programs. Each course, as described below, includes a combination of ITI courseware modules and self-assessment profiles along with papers and case studies.

Introduction to Business Communications Course (3 credits)

Contains 3 Skills Assessments and 5 Learning Modules covering Listening, Presenting, Customer Service, and Selling. The Skills Assessments identify strengths to build on, identify areas for development, set the direction for personal growth and development, and help in the development of a self-directed action plan. The Learning Modules contain lessons, quizzes and interactive exercises, links to additional Web resources, reference materials, a final exam, and communication links to the instructors and other students.

Introduction to Business Practices Course (3 credits)

Contains 3 Skills Assessments and 4 Learning Modules covering Leadership, Teams, Coaching, and Conflict Resolution. The Skills Assessments identify strengths to build on, identify areas for development, set the direction for personal growth and development, and help in the development of a self-directed action plan. The Learning Modules contain lessons, quizzes and interactive exercises, links to additional Web resources, reference materials, a final exam, and communication links to the instructors and other students.

Personal Business Skills Inventory Course (2 credits)

Contains 6 Skills Assessments covering Listening, Communicating, Valuing Differences, Managing Change, Negotiating, and Conflict. The Skills Assessments identify strengths to build on, identify areas for development, set the direction for personal growth and development, and help in the development of a self-directed action plan. Integral to the course are the skills surveys, detailed feedback results, an action plan form, relevant course links, and Web site references.
