INTERACTIVE TRAINING ACQUIRES EDUCATION ON-LINE'S SOFTWARE PRODUCTS

BEVERLY, MASSACHUSETTS, January 13, 1998 -- Interactive Training, Inc. (IT), a provider of interactive, on-line learning programs and systems, today announced the recent acquisition of all software assets including the Universal Precautions CD-ROM from Education On-Line, Inc. (EOL), a multimedia educational services provider. The programs will be modified for delivery as courses through IT's TrainingForumTM Virtual Campus (www.uol.com/trainingforumvc) as well as integrated into the Company's Training On-DemandTM system.

In a separate agreement between the companies, EOL's founder and health care instructional design expert, Dr. James Kilmurray, will be retained by IT to assist in generating new business, managing projects, and participating in product development.
