Minority Business Information Center:
The NMSDC has launched an Information Center to provide a centralized source of information about minority business development and trends. The center's resources include access to on-line databases; a vast collection of magazines, newspapers, and journals with articles pertinent to minority-business development; statistical data from the U.S. Census Bureau; reference books containing corporate facts and figures; and current information on legislation affecting minority-business development. Funded by approximately 20 corporate grants, the Information Center is the first centralized national resource for information on minority-business development. The Information Center's director is responsible for organizing, developing and maintaining the integrity of the Centers' collection, reference books, periodicals and statistics.
