Mission:

The Association for Manufacturing Excellence enables members' companies to achieve excellence and competitive advantage. This is accomplished through education, documentation, research and experience sharing. AME membership provides a forum for all functions of manufacturing enterprises.

The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) is a non-profit organization founded in January 1985 to cultivate the understanding, analysis, and exchange of world class productivity methods and their successful application in the pursuit of excellence.

We are full-time professionals in industry, education, and consulting who become fellow volunteers in our cause. We share news about production performance gains in all types of manufacturing operations -from job shops to high-volume repetitive environments.

Our educational events -conferences, workshops, seminars- reflect our drive for continuing improvement in competitive global markets.

AME offers the opportunity to share and solicit ideas, direction, methods, and techniques from experts -executives like you- who are leading the way to improve productivity and total manufacturing gains. You will share knowledge and understanding with fellow members, including, among others:
